Hello

I’m Rebecca, a Registered Dietitian who loves dogs and has an infinity for some good peanut butter. Although I love the thrill of a roller coaster ride I want to get others off of the diet roller coaster by learning how to adequately nourish themselves to optimize not only their physical health but their mental well-being. The road to health is never a straight or easy path but lets make this journey together to find the healthy lifestyle that fits you best and that you can maintain for the long term. I strive to help others learn to appreciate and embrace their bodies for all their capabilities and not their limitations. ‘Every Body’ responds in different ways and has different needs. Together we will create a personalized and realistic plan to help you reach your individual goals. Let me guide you in establishing the tools to build healthy habits for creating a balanced lifestyle.

My Qualifications

I earned my Bachelors of Science in Dietetics from The University of Connecticut, where I was a part of the Coordinated Dietetics program for my dietetic internship. I followed that by earning my Masters of Science in Nutrition from University of Saint Joseph’s. In my 11-year career as a Registered Dietitian I’ve worked at Yale Diabetes Center and Yale’s Metabolic Weight Loss Center, providing nutrition counseling to prevent further disease development. Most recently I worked with Sodexo and Yale’s Smilow Cancer Hospital at Park Ave Medical Center in Trumbull, CT to guide oncology patients in overall eating and managing symptoms of treatment, as well as seeing patients in an outpatient setting at Bridgeport Hospital for a variety of health conditions including diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, GI disorders, neurological conditions, cancer and food allergies/intolerances. I am passionate about nutrition counseling and helping guide others to find healthy balance in life. I established my private practice, “Every Body’s Nutrition and Wellness” in 2020 where I guide patients to nutrition habits that are sustainable and realistic for them on a daily basis and for the long term. My emphasis is on eating intuitively for optimal health and not counting calories and micromanaging weight.

Throughout me career, I have been awarded with several Honor Your Caregiver Awards, for providing exceptional care and service and making a significant difference in the experience of patients. I most recently was awarded the Platinum Certificate of Appreciation for my dedication and endless support and continued care to a patient and his wife at the end of his life.   You may have also heard me on the Ana and Raven Show on Star 99.9 where I have been featured as a nutrition consultant. I am dedicated to guiding you through your health journey!
